A JKD full instructor (the same martial arts system who trained the actors in the film 300) of Greek origin and one of his Greek students who runs a shirt company created a shirt that has an illustration I did based on reading Steven Pressfield's book Gates of Fire many years ago.
It is a simple bold design using an actual helm design from a statue in the museum of Sparta titled, "Leonidas" as reference, and the actual Greek alphabet translating Leonidas answer to Xerses when asked to lay down their arms.
The shirt has a unique "bronze" texture with a dark red outline. The quality of the printing is quite good since they did several ink passes to make sure it does not crack through wear.
The image is the art on the actual shirt.
