I'm often asked by young artists about drawing tips.
My first response is to inform them about drawing from life.
They will develop essential skills and observe things for what they truly are.

My second response is to forget about all of that and listen to the frog.
The frog will always tell them the truth about their work.
Then the frog will ask for money.

My third response is to advise the youngster to stand very far away...
because they are speaking to a giant frog.
That's just insane.

This was a Kull study for a proposed adaptation of REH's KINGS OF THE NIGHT.

Looking at possibilities of different types of armor.
I tried to go for an advanced look from a long forgotten culture, without looking too futuristic.
